For the development of practical skills, laboratories with required equipments and apparatus have been established. These include Training Kitchens (Basic, Advanced), Training Restaurants and House Keeping among others. The students are given ample opportunity for individual working to express and demonstrate the acquired skills.
Extra-Curricular Activities have been conducted by institute from time to time for the overall development of the students. The main thrust is given on Co-Curricular activities for the development of the proficiency in the subject of French, Spoken English as well as computer applications.
The Industrial Training is arranged for the students in various hotels of the state. During the training the student is expected to work in the Kitchen, F&B Service, Front Office, House Keeping and Sales & Marketing.
